History
The sinking date and reason of the barge, which is 17.5 meters long and 6 meters wide, are unknown. The wooden parts of the wreck, located at a depth of 30 meters, have decayed while the metal parts have preserved themselves. During the landing, wooden sea vessels with a steel hull called barges were used to ensure that soldiers on transport ships could reach the shore in shallow areas. After the landing, they were used for transporting soldiers, supplies, ammunition, and animals to the shore.

Diving Equipment Information:

The equipment to be used for diving includes the basic gear used in equipped dives, such as a mask, fins, weights, a buoyancy vest, a diving tank, a wetsuit (3-5 mm depending on the season), a regulator, gloves, and a 7 mm neoprene suit during the months of November to March, as well as semi-dry or dry suits. Diving can also be conducted with this equipment in the historical underwater park of Gallipoli.
