History
During the Italo-Turkish War between Italy and the Ottoman Empire, it was tasked with transporting the Italian army to Tripoli.

In 1915, it was purchased by the British Admiralty and sent to Gallipoli. This steam cargo and passenger ship, flying the Italian flag,

carried out its final mission in Gallipoli on behalf of England during World War I.

This ship, weighing 2817 gross tons and produced by Alexander Stephen & Sons Ltd. in Govan, was sunk in 1915 to be used as a floating dock at Tekke Point.

History
Another wreck is associated with the passenger ship Maria Delle Vittorie (Saint Mary, the Victory Bringer).

No information has been obtained about the ship, and research is ongoing.

In the church of the same name located in Rome, spoils obtained from the Ottoman army during the Second Vienna War are exhibited.

These are the remains of a ship believed to have been sunk to create a sheltered harbor similar to that in ErtuÄŸrul Cove.
