History
MASSENA:
The ship, built between 1894 and 1898, is named after Andrea Massena, one of the important marshals of the French Revolution. It is known that the ship had design issues and could not make accurate shots due to its excessive weight. Its last mission was to ensure that ships could safely approach the shore during the evacuation of Gallipoli by the Allies. For this purpose, it was grounded as a breakwater on November 9, 1915. Although the Massena has lost its superstructure and is now located at a depth of 5-7 meters, it still retains its form.

History
SAGHALIEN:
Built in 1879, Saghalien is a French passenger ship of the Senegal class. Before the Gallipoli Campaign, it crossed the Dardanelles in August 1914 with the mission of evacuating French citizens from Istanbul. Its last mission was to be grounded as a breakwater in ErtuÄŸrul Cove on December 10, 1915, to safely evacuate British and French soldiers along with the Massena. It is located at a depth of 5-7 meters, has lost its superstructure, but still retains its form.
